The Stralsund Highflyer pigeon is a breed of domestic fancy pigeon from Germany. It is known as Stralsunder Hochflieger in Germany.
The breed was actually developed over many years of selective breeding. It emerged in Pomerania, where Stralsund is located.
Stralsund Highflyer pigeon breed was developed from the French Cumulet. And the breed along with other breeds of domesticated pigeons, all are descendants from the rock pigeon.

Stralsund Highflyer Pigeon Appearance
Stralsund Highflyer pigeon is a relatively smaller sized bird. Body of these birds is slender, posture erect and seem mild. They have melancip head, flat forehead to the base of the beak.
Their beak is long. They are not crested, and they have striking eyes. Their eyes may have some blue and red circles.
Wings of the Stralsund Highflyer pigeon are long, narrow and very close with the tip on the tail.
